How to measure

All you need is a soft tape measure. No tape? Use a ribbon or string, then lay it against a ruler. Keep the tape a little loose and parallel to the floor.

Bust: Around the fullest part of your bust.
Waist: Around the narrowest part of your midsection, about halfway between your ribcage and your belly button.
Hip: Around the widest part of your hips, roughly where the base of a zipper sits on fitted trousers.

About this piece

Upper East Muse is asymmetric at the neckline and cinched through the waist, falling into a clean, straight leg that follows the body without negotiating with it. The flower and the line that trails from it are painted onto the silk by hand. Worn from morning to whenever the evening ends, without a single adjustment.

Each piece is hand-dyed, so slight variation is the mark of the maker, not a flaw.
