Refund Policy

We want you to love what you ordered. If something is not right, this policy explains how to return it for a full refund. Because every Ivande piece is hand-crafted, please read the condition requirements carefully - they help us keep your return in saleable condition for the next customer.
14-day return window
You have 14 days from the date your order is delivered to request a return. Returns requested after 14 days cannot be accepted.
Condition requirements
Returned items must be in pristine, unused condition with:
- All original tags attached
- The original packaging (fabric pouch, garment bag, and box)
- No signs of wear, washing, perfume, makeup, or alteration
Items that arrive back to us in any other condition will be returned to you and no refund will be issued.
What is not returnable
- Items damaged or worn beyond a brief try-on
- Items missing original tags or packaging
- Final sale items (clearly marked as such at the time of purchase, if any)
- Gift cards
- Items received as a gift can be returned for store credit only, in the name of the original recipient
How to start a return
- Email care@ivande.com within 14 days of delivery with your order number, the item(s) you wish to return, and the reason for return (optional)
- We will reply within 1 business day with a prepaid UPS return shipping label
- Pack the item(s) in the original packaging and attach the label
- Drop the package at any UPS location or schedule a UPS pickup
Return shipping
Return shipping is on us within the contiguous United States. We provide a prepaid UPS label so you pay nothing to return.
For returns from Alaska, Hawaii, and US territories, return shipping is at the customer's expense.
Refund processing
Once we receive and inspect your return:
- We will email you to confirm receipt and inspection result, typically within 2 business days of delivery to our facility
- If approved, your refund is issued to the original payment method
- Refunds typically appear on your statement within 5-10 business days, depending on your bank
- The original shipping charge (if any) is not refunded; the prepaid return label cost is absorbed by Ivande
Exchanges
Because our editions are small and pieces sell out, we recommend treating exchanges as a return + new order:
- Return your current item for a full refund following the steps above
- Place a new order for the size or piece you want
If the new item is in stock when you place the new order, you will receive it before the original return is processed.
Damaged, defective, or wrong items
If your order arrives damaged, defective, or incorrect, contact us at care@ivande.com [TO CONFIRM] within 7 days of delivery with photos. We will replace or refund the item at no cost to you, including return shipping.
This is separate from the 14-day return window — damaged or defective items can be reported and addressed beyond 14 days as long as we are notified within 7 days of delivery.
Sale items
Items purchased on sale are returnable under the same 14-day window unless explicitly marked "final sale" at the time of purchase.
A note on the craft
Every Ivande piece is hand-painted in Batik. Slight variations between pieces of the same style - in the placement of motifs, the depth of color, or the way the paint sits on the fabric - are characteristic of the hand-craft process and are not considered defects. These variations are why no two Ivande pieces are identical.
