These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your use of ivande.com and any purchases you make from Ivande LLC ("Ivande," "we," "our," "us"). By using our site or placing an order, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, please do not use the site.

1. Eligibility

You must be at least 18 years old (or the age of majority in your jurisdiction) to make a purchase from Ivande. By placing an order you confirm that you meet this requirement.

2. Account registration

If you create an account, you are responsible for:

• Keeping your password secure
• All activity that occurs under your account
• Notifying us immediately of any unauthorized use at care@ivande.com

We may suspend or terminate accounts that violate these Terms or appear to be used fraudulently.

3. Products and availability

We make small editions of hand-crafted Batik apparel. Because every piece is hand-worked, no two pieces are identical - the variations between pieces of the same style are a feature of the craft, not a defect.

We try to display product colors, textures, and details as accurately as possible, but actual appearance may vary slightly based on your screen and the handmade nature of each piece.

We reserve the right to limit the quantity of any product sold to a single customer and to discontinue any product at any time.

4. Pricing and payment

All prices are listed in US Dollars (USD) and exclude applicable sales tax and shipping, which are calculated at checkout.

We accept the payment methods displayed at checkout, including major credit cards, Apple Pay, Google Pay, and Shop Pay. Payments are processed securely by Shopify Payments. We do not store full card details on our servers.

By submitting payment information, you represent that you are authorized to use the payment method and that the information you provide is accurate.

We reserve the right to refuse or cancel any order at our discretion, including for suspected fraud, pricing errors, or stock issues. If we cancel an order, we will refund any payment in full.

5. Orders and shipping

When you place an order, we send an order confirmation by email. This confirmation acknowledges receipt of your order — it does not constitute acceptance. We accept your order when we ship it.

Shipping terms, methods, costs, and times are described in our Shipping Policy.

Risk of loss transfers to you when the carrier delivers the package to the address you provided.

6. Returns

Returns are governed by our Refund Policy. Briefly: 14-day window from delivery, items must be in pristine unused condition with all tags and original packaging, Ivande provides a prepaid return label.

7. Intellectual property

All content on ivande.com — including text, photography, illustrations, logos, designs, the Batik motifs, and the underlying code — is the property of Ivande LLC or our licensors and is protected by US and international copyright, trademark, and other intellectual property laws.

You may not reproduce, distribute, modify, or create derivative works from any content on the site without our written permission, except for personal, non-commercial use (such as saving a photo for personal reference).

The names "Ivande" and any related logos are trademarks of Ivande LLC.

8. User-submitted content

If you submit reviews, photos, or other content to our site or social channels, you grant Ivande a non-exclusive, royalty-free, worldwide license to use, display, and distribute that content in connection with our business, including in our marketing.

You are responsible for the content you submit. Do not submit content that is unlawful, infringing, defamatory, or that you do not have the right to share.

9. Prohibited uses

You agree not to use the site to:

• Violate any law or regulation
• Infringe any third party's intellectual property or privacy rights
• Distribute malware or attempt to disrupt our systems
• Scrape, copy, or systematically extract data from the site
• Attempt unauthorized access to any account, server, or system
• Resell our products in commercial quantities without our written agreement

10. Disclaimers

The site and our products are provided "as is" without warranties of any kind, except as required by applicable law. We do not guarantee that the site will be uninterrupted, error-free, or free of viruses.

For physical products, our warranty is limited to what is described in our Refund Policy and any product-specific care information. Ivande makes no other warranties, express or implied, including any warranty of merchantability or fitness for a particular purpose, to the maximum extent permitted by law.

11. Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Ivande's total liability arising from your use of the site or your purchase of any product is limited to the amount you paid for the product giving rise to the claim. Ivande is not liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages — including lost profits, lost data, or business interruption — even if we have been advised of the possibility of such damages.

Nothing in these Terms limits liability that cannot be excluded under applicable law (such as for personal injury caused by negligence or fraud).

12. Indemnification

You agree to indemnify and hold Ivande LLC, its officers, employees, and agents harmless from any claims, losses, or expenses (including reasonable attorneys' fees) arising from your breach of these Terms, your misuse of the site, or your violation of any law or third-party rights.

13. Governing law and dispute resolution

These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of New York, without regard to conflict-of-laws principles.

Any dispute arising from or relating to these Terms or your use of the site will be resolved exclusively in the state or federal courts located in New York County, New York. You consent to the jurisdiction of those courts.

14. Changes to these Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. Material changes will be communicated by email (if you have an account) or by a notice on our site. The "Effective" date at the top reflects the most recent revision. Continued use of the site after changes are posted constitutes acceptance.
