About this piece
Cut from soft cotton, Brooklyn Edge skirt is inspired by the changing leaves. The skirt falls below the knee with a single thigh-high slit, fitted at the true waist with an invisible zipper. Every color is hand-painted, waxed and dyed in batik worked into the panels before cutting and sewing begin.
Each piece is hand-dyed, so slight variation is the mark of the maker, not a flaw.
